Level up in Ceramics 2!
In this intermediate class, students will learn by participating in a series of demonstrations and guided projects. Emphasis will be on troubleshooting and refining techniques in both hand-building and throwing. Examples of projects MAY include, planters, plates or pour-overs, etc. Students are invited to explore their own interests with some instructor support. Additional instruction will be woven into lessons to build knowledge in the areas of surface treatments, function, design, and expression. Some projects will vary from one 12-week session to the next, allowing students to return with their friends and build on their abilities while exploring new ideas.
MATERIALS LIST:
The materials fee is $45 and will be added on at payment. Students do not need to purchase any other materials and all tools are provided. Any additional bags of clay requested throughout the session will also cost $45. This fee covers not just clay but glazes, firings, waxes, and more. Participants must be 12 years to 100 years old when the program starts.
