Play with Clay

A mini-version of VAI's Play with Clay, this session runs 8 weeks and is a perfect opportunity for fun and experiential learning with stoneware clay. In this class, kids willlearn to think spatially while creating with a 3-Dimensional medium. Traditional hand-building
techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab will be taught to aid in making a range of functional
and sculptural projects. Projects vary from one 12-week session to the next allowing for students to
return with their friends and build on their abilities while exploring new ideas.

Class Description notes: The materials fee is $10 for youth clay classes and will be
added on at time of payment. This fee covers not just clay but glazes, firings, and more.
