Ceramics II: Intermediate

In this intermediate class, students will learn by participating in a series of demonstrations and guided projects. Emphasis will be on troubleshooting and refining techniques in both hand-building and throwing. Examples of projects MAY include, planters, plates or pour-overs, etc. Students are invited to explore their own interests with some instructor support. Additional instruction will be woven into lessons to build knowledge in the areas of surface treatments, function, design, and expression.  Some projects will vary from one 12-week session to the next, allowing students to return with their friends and build on their abilities while exploring new ideas.

Note: A materials fee of $45 and will be added upon checkout. Any additional bags of clay will also cost $45. This fee covers not just clay but glazes, Website Class Listings firings, waxes, and more.
