BIO

Lee taught Ceramics in Jordan School District from 1988-2012, and was twice selected Art Teacher of the Year in Utah.  From 2013-2016 he taught at Peking University in Beijing, China.  Lee works from his home studio in South Jordan, Utah. He is enamored with the immediacy and spontaneity of the throwing process, and the ability of plastic clay, both stoneware and porcelain, to be stretched into voluminous forms. His art has also been deeply influenced by the environment, colors, textures, patterns, and geology of Southern Utah.
