Friday night throwdown! Basics on The Pottery Wheel
Instructor: Shelbie Colton
In this 10-part series, students of any skill level are invited to participate in one or more 3-hour, instructor lead classes covering the foundations of working with clay. Themed projects will vary from week to week and may be wheel or hand-building based. Students may enroll in one themed class at a time or may enroll in multiple individual classes. Any students holding VAI flex passes may participate if there is space available.
Join us for the first of 10 drop-in sessions in ceramics. This instructor lead class will cover the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. Participants can expect to make 1-3 pots which they can choose a glaze for so staff may finish the objects for them. This is a great class for those wanting to try their hand at the wheel or rediscover a past passion for clay. Finished objects can be picked up 2-3 weeks after the class.
Materials Fee Included
VAI Flex Pass Holders: This class is worth 4 hours on your VAI Flex Pass
