This class is for first time painters, as well as those with some experience who wish to renew the basic techniques and skills. We will be working from a variety of references and still lives. In addition, there will be opportunities to work from references of your choice. Class is held ONLINE. Students who register for the virtual broadcast, do NOT have the option of attending class in-person in South Salt Lake. If you are unable to attend the class, we are able to process refunds up to 2 weeks before the first day of class. You can buy masonite and gesso it yourself, or buy ready made canvas
board. Stretched canvas will work, but it is often loose and bouncy. I
prefer a more firm surface to paint on. Feel free to get a few of each to
learn what you prefer.
