Start creating narratives within your artwork. Choosing lines from poems, fairy tales, and stories we will sketch, draft, paint, and create storytelling illustrations. Learning about key elements such as mood, focus, composition, and different style choices that will help bring your story to life. This class uses traditional mediums such as pencils, pens, and watercolors. You are also welcome to explore other mediums that suit your narratives and personal styles throughout the class. This class will help those more who already have an understanding of the fundamentals in drawing and art. Supplies List: Sketchbook Pencils and Erasers Ballpoint Pen Waterproof Ink Pens (like micron pens or your personal favorites) White Gel Pen Mixed Media Paper or Bristol (paper you would like to draw and ink on) Watercolors Watercolor Brushes Watercolor Paper Class is held at our SOUTH SALT LAKE location. Instructor: Lyra Zoe Smith Minimum Enrollments and Refunds: We need a minimum of 5 participants to be able to provide the class. If we don't reach our minimum enrollment, we may need to cancel the class. The best way to ensure your class goes on is to get your friends to join in on the fun! This class is drop-in and Flex Pass eligible. If you are unable to attend the class, we are able to process refunds up to 2 weeks before the first day of class. After that date, we can either transfer you into a different class or offer you a credit towards your account up to the first day of class. Please contact our office if you have any questions.
Participants must be 14 years to 101 years old when the program starts.
