This class is open to teens and adults of all abilities. We will focus on Color Theory, complimentary colors, and various palettes to create high key, low key, high contrast, and low chroma saturation.
If you've been enrolled for 3 consecutive semesters and feel you know the foundational concepts of drawing and painting, you may work on personal projects and Shelley will assist with feedback and constructive critique.
We will also experiment with Acrylic under-painting to set a colored ground to block on on.
Class is held at the HIGHLAND COMMUNITY CENTER.
Instructor: Shelley Young
