There are also a larger variety of colors available. “Student” or “studio” series are less expensive, less saturated, and fade faster, but perfectly fine while learning. There is currently a great sale at Blick that goes through September 24th. This is a suggested supply list. If you have comparable supplies already on hand, feel free to bring those and we can assess what you may need for the class beyond that. You will need canvas panels - 12x16 or gessoed panels. The brushes and colors can be a bit more varied. Minimum Enrollments and Refunds: We need a minimum of 5 participants to be able to provide the class. If we don't reach our minimum enrollment, we may need to cancel the class. The best way to ensure your class goes on is to get your friends to join in on the fun! This class is eligible for drop-ins and Flex Pass users. If you are unable to attend the class, we are able to process refunds up to 2 weeks before the first day of class. After that date, we can either transfer you into a different class or offer you a credit towards your account up to the first day of class. Please contact our office if you have any questions.
You can buy masonite and gesso it yourself, or buy ready made canvas board. Stretched canvas will work, but it is often loose and bouncy. I prefer a more firm surface to paint on. Feel free to get a few of each to learn what you prefer.
