Let’s dive into the vibrant world of illustration and watercolor painting!
Together we’ll practice drawing, color mixing, and watercolor layering techniques to build your illustration confidence. Throughout the course of this class, students will draw and paint everything from character designs, animals, and plants, to illustrated lettering, buildings, and transportation. We’ll teach you ways to manipulate water, paper, and pigments to create beautiful washes, build dimension, and produce rich organic textures that bring watercolor projects to another level.
With so many exciting tricks to make your paintings POP, each class day will bring an opportunity to try something new and build on what students have learned in previous weeks. Whether you’re new to watercolor or ready to take your skills further, this class is a place to experiment, grow, and create artwork you’ll be proud of.
This class is for artists ages 12+. Those who register should have a strong interest in drawing and painting, but they do not need to be highly experienced. Class time will pass by quickly! Students should be engaged in their projects, and able to maintain a focused environment during work time.

Some courses may involve tasks or activities that may be difficult for individuals with limited strength, difficulty bending over, and sitting or standing for long periods of time.
